I Dated Some Spring Scents—Everyone Agrees I Should Settle Down With This One

This may come as a shock to some, but I'm dating again. Before you jump to conclusions and picture me arm in arm with a tall, dark, and handsome man on the streets of New York, I want to make it clear that I'm actually looking for a short, aesthetically pleasing two-ounce bottle of floral spray to place on my nightstand. It might be a little dramatic to compare shopping for a spring fragrance to dating in NYC, but in this case, I have no problem being dramatic. There's a slew of attractive options on the market, but it takes months or even years to find the perfect person (or scent) that's worth sticking with for the foreseeable future. With spring approaching and the temperatures climbing, I've been on the prowl for the perfect fragrance that's going to earn me compliments, last all day, fit any and every spring occasion, and serve as a chic addition to my nightstand. After many dates at the perfume counters with a number of eligible contenders, I think I'm ready to swipe right on Jimmy Choo's I Want Choo fragrance ($66).
Not only does I Want Choo check every single one of my boxes, but it has that elevated and luxurious feel that ties every outfit together with an invisible bow. The scent is strong but not overpowering, floral but not too sweet. The best part of it all? It lasts all day, following me into every single room I enter. I'm not ashamed to admit how tickled I get when someone tells me I smell good, and you can expect just that after a few spritzes. If you couldn't already tell, I'm pretty sold on this fragrance, but I couldn't commit without getting the stamp of approval from my friends and fellow editors. Keep scrolling for their first impressions, and prepare to spray the ultimate spring scent before jetting out the door to a summer picnic, a date night, or a cozy night in with the girls.
"What's my new date-night perfume? Well, I just found it. I Want Choo is all my favorite things wrapped into one bottle. It's a little sweet, a little floral, and a little spicy. It's warm and delicious and bound to earn you major compliments the minute you step outside. And as if the scent weren't enough, the bottle is just so elegant. I'm already making room for it front and center on my dresser, a spot that very few get to inhabit."
"I'm the weirdo who regularly rotates her fragrances. Some days I want to feel moody. Others I want to feel sexy. And on the days that I just want to have fun, I can count on I Want Choo. It's sweet and vibrant with notes of peach and vanilla that give way to jasmine and red spider lily, which adds a subtle spiciness to the mix. I'm surprised by how long-lasting it is, too. It's the type of scent you want to wear for a night out on the town with friends."
"I like to change up my fragrance with each new season. In the colder months, I gravitate toward warm and woody scents. In the spring and summer, I switch to fruity and floral. I Want Choo's notes of peach, jasmine, and vanilla are exactly what I'm looking for as the weather starts to change here in NYC. I'll be wearing this fragrance to my next picnic in the park."
