As a shopping editor, I spend a lot of time analyzing trends—what's coming, what's going, and which pieces are worth buying. While some basics stand the test of time, others shift with the seasons. Technically, basics never go out of style, but certain ones feel more relevant than others this year.

In general, I'm not much of one for fleeting trends. I prefer a wardrobe of elevated essentials—finding unique silhouettes, textures, and details rather than chasing what's new.
