Here's What Victoria Beckham Says About the Spice Girls 2019 Tour
Update, November 5, 2018: After rumors circulated earlier this year, we finally have a definitive answer: Yes, the Spice Girls are reuniting for a tour in 2019, and no, Victoria Beckham will not be joining. The band, which will include Emma Bunton, Geri Horner, Melanie Chisholm, and Melanie Brown, revealed today that tickets will be on sale this Saturday, so mark your calendars.
Despite not committing to the reunion, Beckham has the sweetest things to say about her former bandmates. "Today marks a special day for the girls as they announce the first tour dates since we performed together in 2012!" Beckham wrote on Instagram. "I won't be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year. I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time! X vb" Scroll down to see the funny Twitter video announcement.

Originally posted on February 7, 2018: Remember Victoria Beckham's mysterious Spice Girls Instagram post last week? We've been crossing our fingers that the group had something exciting up their sleeves, and now it appears we know what it is. TMZ reports that a reunion tour is officially happening, with stops in both the UK and the U.S. planned. Because friendship lasts forever, right?
Although the cult '90s group has not confirmed the news, TMZ reports that they're in talks with former manager Simon Fuller and are in the "rough planning" stage, intending to kick off the tour in late summer. Plus, we can reportedly expect new tour merch, but no new music. All we can say is: You can bet we'll be booking tickets immediately. Can you imagine how good the stage costumes will be? If the news is true, we can't wait to see what they'll be wearing during the tour. See you there!

She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Kate and Meghan stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible.
