Sophie Turner's Wedding Dress Is as Incredible as We Wanted It to Be
After a good few days of speculation, including all the outfits in the run-up to the event, we’ve finally been given a glimpse of Sophie Turner’s wedding dress. Unsurprisingly, the bridal gown was designed by Louis Vuitton’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière, who also dressed the actress for the Met Gala and many high-profile moments before that. The designer revealed on Instagram early this morning that he was behind Turner’s wedding dress with a picture of the full look.
The floor-length dress was a classic ball gown skirt with a band around the waist and fitted lace sleeves. While it’s definitely a more demure kind of design, the low neckline and open back made this the perfect style for a modern bride. Under the lace sleeves was a white bodice with cap sleeves—perhaps designed so the sleeves could be taken off and the dress transformed into the evening look. We may have to wait a while to discover if that’s the case.
Turner married Joe Jonas in France for their second wedding after a surprise Vegas white chapel ceremony in May, where only a handful of the couple’s friends attended, including DJ Diplo, who live-streamed the event.
Before their big day, Turner and Jonas spent the past week in Paris with a small group of friends and family enjoying pre-wedding celebrations all over the City of Light before heading into the countryside.
Luckily for us, we got to see Turner’s Parisian summer ensembles, alongside some stellar looks from her sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra Jonas. As for the outfits the night before the wedding, an Avignon restaurant called La Mirande played host to her guests, who all looked ultra glam in a series of all-white getups. We were particularly enamored with Ashley Graham's sassy beaded slip dress, while Sophie herself is rumored to have worn red.

Style Notes: A little white dress with Alexandre Birman's classic Clarita heels never goes amiss.
Style Notes: White jumpsuits were a popular choice for the evening event.
Style Notes: Priyanka opted for white satin and drop earrings with 1940s-style waves.
Style Notes: Guest ensembles varied from satin slip dress to more casual tailoring and denim.
Style Notes: Ashley Graham wore a gorgeous beaded slip dress and strappy sandals.
Style Notes: This silky jumpsuit from Rat & Boa is one we've had our eye on for some time.
Style Notes: Sophie's summer vacation bag of choice from Celine is pretty damn chic. Love those sunnies too.
Style Notes: Paris calls for jeans and a blazer, no matter who you are.
Style Notes: Double denim and sneaks for a little sightseeing avec Joe.
Style Notes: Priyanka's black off-the-shoulder dress could be worn for many different occasions.
Style Notes: See the same jacket and kicks? Efficient packing going on here, and we're impressed.
Style Notes: Matching sets like these are great for staying a bit more covered up in the heat.
Style Notes: A very Clueless moment for Priyanka in this pink skirt suit.
Party boat time!
Style Notes: Priyanka's flounced maxi dress has been on our minds all week.
