Sophie Turner is the Queen of Masked Maternity Style

Maternity style has evolved significantly in the past few years for both celebrities mere mortals alike. No longer confined to a shapeless house dress—or worse, stuck idling behind closed doors—pregnant women are able to maintain their personal style throughout maternity thanks to chic brands like Hatch, Koral Activewear, and Ingrid & Isabel to name a few. 

However, one would imagine that pregnancy during the COVID-19 pandemic would bring its own unique set of challenges. In addition to prioritizing health and safety measures both at home and in hospitals, many expectant mothers are forced to remain socially distant from friends and family, sometimes even their partners. Fortunately, for those looking for maternity outfit inspiration and stylish facemasks, Sophie Turner is the one to watch. 

Widely known around the world for her role as the icy and impervious Sansa Stark, the 24-year-old Game of Thrones star gained a new legion of followers when she started dating singer Joe Jonas in 2016. The duo continued to make headlines in all the best ways (including their coordinating Louis Vuitton looks during awards season), and surprised everyone with their Las Vegas elopement following the Billboard Music Awards in May of 2019. The Jonases had a formal wedding ceremony with family and friends the following month in France, and have been spotted out and about together in New York and Los Angeles in 2020. 

News of Turner's pregnancy broke in February of this year, so it's safe to assume that baby Jonas will be arriving in the next several weeks. In celebration, we've rounded up seven of Sophie Turner's best cute-yet-comfy maternity looks. From bold blazers to crop tops, baby doll dresses to bike shorts, it's clear that this soon-to-be first-time mom will continue to be on best-dressed lists for years to come. 

In February of this year, the Jonases were spotted walking their dogs in Los Angeles. Though paired with black leggings, the oversized hoodie was a departure from her usual, more fitted workout attire and may have helped camouflage the beginnings of a baby bump. 

Spotted again in February in L.A., both Jonases opted for white sneakers, denim, and throwback tops; hers a vintage Rolling Stones concert tee and his a varsity jacket.

Channeling their sporty sensibilities again, the Jonases were seen on a chilly L.A. day in March. Perhaps her throwback Giants 'fit is from her husband's youth growing up as a fan in New Jersey?
