The $69 Nordstrom Dress I'm Buying to Replicate Sofia Richie's The Row Look
Few things excite me as a superb basic does. That's why photos of Sofia Richie in a maxi-length T-shirt dress were as effective at waking me up last night as the espresso I'd sipped on two hours earlier. Finding out the dress—a simple white number by The Row—has been in Richie's rotation for months only added to the thrill of it all. That's right—the newly married It girl wore the same dress back in 2021 in photos alongside her then-boyfriend (not even fiancée) Elliot Grainge. This time, however, she paired the dress with a cognac Celine belt, a sold-out The Row tote, and Saint Laurent sunglasses.
Taken two years apart, the photos show the versatility and longevity of a T-shirt dress, which you can belt or not belt. There are hundreds of different ways to make a dress this versatile look entirely new. But here's the problem: Not everyone (myself included) can afford to spend almost $900 on a dress, even one as timeless as Richie's. Fortunately, I found a $69 alternative at Nordstrom that will more than get the job done. It's really no big deal, but you can thank me by scrolling down and seeing the perfect T-shirt dress I'm buying to get Richie's look this summer.

If you want to skip the open-back detail on the Treasure & Bond dress, this Another Tomorrow dress is an equally great choice.
Though Richie's dress is sold out everywhere, this similar style is very much available.
I love this more fitted option from Gap. And as a bonus, it comes in two more colors.
The V-neck and muscle sleeves on this Frame dress feel so fresh for the T-shirt dress genre.
