Simplicity Is My New Thing—Check Out These Outfits That Are Low-Key
Simple yet elevated looks are my new vibe. For years, I've been one of those fashion people who collect bold statement pieces, as I'm not scared off by anything a little out of the box. I'll admit it—I like to stand out. With that said, there have been days when I look at my closet and think, "Did I really need this many neon-trend pieces?" or something along those lines. Now, I see the value of elevated basics that you can rotate throughout your wardrobe and style multiple ways, looking incredibly chic without doing too much.
As someone who is always in need of a good look, I have come up with five outfit formulas that take five minutes to put together and look stellar. I am all about a great midi dress paired with flat sandals and sunglasses, a strapless dress with heels, white jeans paired with a black tank and gold jewelry, a two-piece set with sandals, and a dress with sneakers and a light knit or cardigan. These outfits can be worn on repeat all summer for a date night, on a long day, or on a vacation.
Keep scrolling through to check out what I'm shopping for to get these simple, low-key looks.
Midi Dress + Flat Sandals + Sunglasses
This is my new summer uniform for sure. You can wear this look to a summer barbecue, to run errands, on a vacation, or even when heading to dinner with friends. This look is easy to put together, yet it feels fashionable.
Strapless Dress + Heels
This look just screams summer. I plan to wear this while dining outside with friends in the city, at events, on dates, and everywhere in between. I love the subtle sexy vibe of a strapless look. You really can't go wrong.
White Jeans + Black Tank + Gold Jewelry
This is my go-to for running errands or stopping by a casual happy hour. The key to this outfit is high-quality basics that fit well. Since both the top and bottom are such simple pieces, gold jewelry is a must.
Two-Piece Set + Sandals
A two-piece is a guaranteed stylish look. It's the first thing I reach for when I want to wear a head-turning outfit for a night out or an event. I'm actually thinking about what to wear tonight, and I think I'm leaning toward a two-piece myself. I love pants and a matching top as well as a miniskirt-and-top set.
Dress + Sneakers + Light Knit
This look has a coastal-granddaughter vibe to it that I am really into. I'd wear it on a park day or to brunch, as I like how dainty and romantic it is. The sneakers also make this a great look for a day spent running errands.
