For the most part, simplicity is the name of my fashion game. As a result, I tend to stick to trends that are fashion-forward yet classic to fit within my more pared-down wardrobe. And while I hit up a variety of stores to uncover said trends, Nordstrom is always one of my go-tos given that the retailer really does stock a smattering of pieces to suit a range of styles and budgets.

On that note, I thought I’d take a gander through the new arrivals section to pinpoint the exact pieces I’m into that fit within the highly wearable trend categories I’ve been loving. Here, I’m talking about everything from those slouchier knits to modern tailoring to chunky boots.
