Simplicity Is the Name of My Fall Fashion Game—These 6 Easy Trends Are the Best
If I had to sum up my style in a few words, "simple” would definitely make it on the list. Yep, the bulk of my closet is comprised of those low-key, elevated basics that can be mixed and matched to create, in my eyes, effortless outfits. Given that simplicity is the name of my fashion game, I typically gravitate toward those easier, versatile picks when I’m shopping or sourcing new trends. For fall specifically, there are six looks that have particularly caught my eye as I’ve been doing market research.
Intrigued? Below, you’ll uncover the six easy trends that I think are worth noting for the season. As you’ll see, all of the looks coming your way are forward yet still simple in nature because they can be paired with a range of basic and trendier items. Keep scrolling for a bit of visual inspo and shopping recommendations if you’re ready to get a jump-start on building those fall wardrobes.
Sweater-Vest
Tossing on a sweater-vest (whether you’re wearing it on its own or layered) is an easy yet on-trend way to create a simple, directional look.
Flat Boots
I can’t wait to wear chunky flat boots this season. I’m all about a shoe trend that’s practical and forward.
Oversize Blazer
The simplest way to bring instant polish to even the most casual ’fit is by incorporating a slouchy blazer in a silhouette.
Leather Separates
While leather separates may seem more high-concept in theory, those textured trousers, skirts, and tops pair flawlessly with basics for an easy, sleek vibe.
Straight-Leg Jeans
When it comes to the denim cut du jour among the fashion crowd, straight-leg jeans reign supreme for their comfortable and timeless yet of-the-moment nature.
Re-Worked Trench Coat
A reimagined trench coat can instantly take an ensemble to the next level with its trend-forward qualities. Throw one on over anything, and you’re set. It’s that easy.
