See Simone Ashley's TikTok-Viral Dress From the Green Carpet Fashion Awards
We're always excited when the stars come out in style, especially when it's for a great cause like the Green Fashion Awards. Founded by Livia Firth and co-chaired by Simone Ashley, Cate Blanchett, Quannah Chasinghorse, Viola Davis, Tom Ford, Salma Hayek and Simu Liu, the debut of this soon-to-be annual event celebrates positive partnerships and changemakers in the entertainment and fashion industries.
The evening bestowed several honors to cross-industry A-listers including Tom Ford, Edward Enninful, and Alicia Silverstone, and also took time to recognize fourteen female leaders from around the globe for their inspirational activism, understanding, and interplay between environmental action, civil rights, equality, global feminism and building a better collective future.
It was fitting, then, that Co-Chair Simone Ashley's mint-green Blumarine Pre-Fall 2023 off-the-shoulder dress stole the show—at least on TikTok, where our video of Ashley garnered nearly 2 million views, over 200,000 likes, and over 500 comments. We're used to seeing the Bridgerton actress in decidedly more complicated gowns so this timeless silhouette in an unexpected color, and with a very on-trend rosette embellishment at the bust, feels much more modern and appropriately on-theme.
Ahead, see several of the best-dressed guests at the Green Fashion Awards, and prepare to be inspired.
