Sienna Miller Just Wore the Winter Coat Trend Every Editor Is Buying Into
If there's one celebrity whose style I cannot ignore, it's Sienna Miller's. Since her boho-chic days some 20 years ago until today, where she consistently conquers everything from off-duty denim to Wimbledon dressing and, more recently, a festive LBD, she rarely misses the mark. So when I saw this weekend she wore a shearling coat and leather pants—a divine combination IMO—I immediately went to Google to search where I could find some items like it.
There are many reasons to love a shearling coat, most notably is their ability to keep us warm. But you know what I love most about them? They tread the line between cosy and cool so well, and depending on the style, you can truly offer so many different looks. Want to keep it casual? You just need jeans and a cashmere knit underneath. Or, to give it a sporty edge, switch your cashmere for a hoodie, jeans for joggers and wear with your favourite sneakers. Keen to elevate it? Pair with a knitted jersey dress and knee-high boots–this brings out its 70s style and is a winning outfit build for those days filled with back-to-back meetings followed by dinner.
The way Miller did it however, with leather pants and a pointed boot works in the same vein–it's cool and effortless, and perfect for these sub-zero temperatures. So if you too are wondering where to buy the very best shearling coats or leather pants this season, I've done the hard work for you. Scroll below.
The Trophy Item: Shearling Jacket
