This Sienna Miller Shoe-and-Trouser Combo Makes No Sense—But Somehow I Love It
Alessandro Michele, the creative director of Gucci, always manages to mix together the most unlikely prints and textures; it has become the heart of his reimagined aesthetic for the Italian fashion house. Sometimes this eccentric styling really shouldn't work, as seen with the Gucci runway look that Sienna Miller wore to a La Mer event this week. She wore a boxy black blazer with detailed cream and black buttons (very Princess Diana), with beige tailored trousers with a tapered leg and a pair of bright pink glossy leather mules. Barbie pink mules aren't what you'd typically pair with cream wool trousers, but in Alessandro Michele fashion, the unexpected element of this pairing is what makes it all the more brilliant.
