I'm the Fashion Director at Shopbop—Here Are the Outfits I Just Wore in Paris
As Shopbop’s fashion director, Caroline Maguire has a pulse on what matters in fashion. Period. Part of her role consists of attending fashion month to see what’s next in the industry. She just wrapped up her Paris Fashion Week adventure and shared a sampling of the outfits she wore while jetting between shows and presentations.
Keep scrolling to check out four outfits Maguire wore on her work trip to France. You’ll uncover quotes from Maguire about the exact places and fashion shows she wore each of the ensembles to. There’s also a sprinkling of shots from Maguire showcasing some of her other favorite Parisian moments. Oh, and if you’re interested in adding a fresh item to your fall wardrobe, don’t miss shopping recommendations from Shopbop throughout as well.
"I’m totally obsessed with polka dots, and I absolutely loved this classic black-and-white combo! To give this Kitri dress a more casual feel for the daytime, I styled it with my fave boxy white tee. To complete the look, I accessorized with a pair of black trouser socks and chunky black loafers. This shot was taken on the balcony of the Isabel Marant showroom!" — Maguire
"Polo- and rugby-inspired designs are back! I’m really feeling this trend and opted for this top from Stella Jean, which is perfect for fall. I paired it with a black maxi denim skirt from Khaite, two-tone penny loafers, and my fishnet socks. One thing you won't catch me without on particularly sunny days is my Gucci aviators. This was taken at the Parrot Agency showroom, which represents so many great brands like Róhe, Bernadette, and Wandler—they have a fabulous view of the Eiffel Tower." — Maguire
"This Phillip Lim bomber is über-lightweight due to its knit-like material, making it perfect for transitional seasons. I styled it with an oversized tee from Tibi, and to round it out, I added some novelty bottoms—a black Phillip Lim fringe skirt." — Maguire
"This was taken in the courtyard for the Cecilie Bahnsen show. This day I rocked a woven blazer-dress from Interior, which is absolutely to die for. To give the silhouette a more lax vibe, I went up a few sizes for a more oversized fit." — Maguire
Check out more of Maguire's favorite Paris moments:
"The best part of PFW is bumping into Shopbop designers on the street! It’s never a dull moment with the BruceGlen brothers—absolutely love them!" — Maguire
"Matthew Harris is the founder and creative director of Mateo Jewelry. I had the pleasure of seeing their newest collection while in town." — Maguire
"When in Paris, you have to try the escargot! Chez Georges has the best I’ve ever had." — Maguire
