No matter how much or how little you know about CBD products, you probably know of OG luxury CBD brand Lord Jones, which is the brainchild of Cindy Capobianco and husband and fellow co-founder Robert Rosenheck. Lord Jones came to be in 2017, at the beginning of the CBD craze. Although the brand is widely known for its high-CBD skincare, it started with cannabis-infused confections, deliciously made with single-origin Ecuadorian dark chocolate, natural European fruit essences, and CBD extract.
Capobianco's and Rosenheck's first foray into the world of cannabis was via the Hollywood Hills Wellness Association, which they established as their own dispensary. It was then that they learned about the potential of the CBD compound, which led to the formation of Lord Jones, including its CBD infused gum drops and widely praised lotion. Now, Lord Jones's offerings include tinctures, bath salts, a high CBD oil, and even a genius new Stiletto foot cream in collaboration with Tamara Mellon.
This is Second Life, so naturally being the co-founder and chief brand officer of the OG luxury cannabis-infused brand wasn't Capobianco's first career. She actually began her career as a fashion editor at publications including Vogue, Allure, and Marie Claire before transitioning to PR and marketing and eventually opening her own brand marketing agency with Rosenheck.
Head to iTunes to subscribe to Second Life, and listen to this brand-new episode to hear more about Capobianco's transition from fashion to CBD. And keep scrolling to shop some of the Lord Jones products that have contributed to the brand's cult following.
Next up, meet The Shade Room founder Angelica Nwandu.
