A Scandi Girl Walks Into Sephora—Here's Every Beauty Product She Picks Up
It's no secret that we love Scandinavian beauty here at Who What Wear UK. From nail trends to skincare products and even skincare tips, we just can't get enough. After trying a fair few Scandi beauty brands myself, I appreciate how they focus on effective formulas and minimal packaging, as I feel as if I can really simplify my beauty routine, without having to compromise on the results. Not to mention the fact that each and every brand looks super chic on display in my bathroom.
Pretty much every Scandi girl I follow on Instagram seems to have the most hydrated, glowy skin and healthy, glossy hair. From what I can tell, a lot of Scandinavians also prefer a more pared-back makeup routine, which is totally up my street.
Seeing as I'm so obsessed with Scandinavian beauty, I thought it would be fun to pretend to be a Scandi girl for a day and head into Sephora to pick up some new bits. As junior beauty editor, I thought it was only right that I shared my top picks with you, so that you can also live out your Scandi-girl dreams, too, just as I am.
Keep on scrolling for some seriously chic yet effective skincare, makeup and hair picks, alongside some stylish fragrances that I will definitely be adding to my basket. All I need now is a trip to Copenhagen to upgrade my wardrobe too...

First up is one of the coolest Swedish skincare brands out there. Verso is all about simplifying your beauty routine, and has created a range of multifunctional products with different numbers to differentiate between each step. This night cream contains the brand's Retinol 8 complex, to help you wake up with a youthful glow.
Lumene is another super cool Scandi brand which makes getting ready a whole lot easier. This clever product combines skincare and makeup to create a serum that offers a sheer, radiant finish, and works to hydrate and brighten the complexion.
Ok, so this isn't technically a Scandi brand, but it's super cool nonetheless. If you're yet to experience a MALIN+GOETZ fragrance, then I highly recommend giving one a go straight away. The brand has so many unique scents such as dark rum and leather, but I can totally see all the Scandi girls wearing the strawberry perfume for a fresh finish.
Danish skincare brand Ole Henriksen is one of my personal favourites, and this eye cream is incredible at brightening the under eye area and tackling those pesky dark circles.
Refy might not be Scandi, but it's giving me all of the minimalist vibes. For a super natural, bushy brow look that all the cool girls are going for, opt for the brand's Brow Sculpt, that works to shape and set hairs in place.
I just know that all the Scandi girls would love the fragrance brand Commodity thanks to its simple, understated approach to perfume. Milk is a warm fragrance with notes of skin musk, tonka bean and mahogany wood, and wearing it feels like slipping on your favourite cashmere jumper.
Did you know that Foreo is a Swedish-based brand? It totally makes sense when you think about it, as the products are so effective on the skin. This face brush can be used on all skin types and is designed to make cleansing feel like an at-home spa experience. Not only that, but the clever bristles work to unclog pores and remove dead skin cells.
I don't know about you, but I love using Glossier products for a more pared-back makeup look, especially the cream blushes. The sheer formula is so easy to blend into the skin, and gives your cheeks a flush of colour with a dewy finish.
K18 is easily one of my favourite haircare brands of all time, as it really dives deep into the science of healthy hair. I can imagine all of the Scandi girls using this hair oil to keep their locks looking shiny and feeling strong.
This fragrance brand certainly wouldn't look out of place in a Scandinavian bathroom thanks to the chic packaging, and this scent is my autumn perfume of choice. It combines lots of smokey, woody notes with sweet, creamy chestnut, and really will transport you to a cosy evening spent round the fire.
