Out of All the Scandi Brands, This One Is Easily My Favourite

Copenhagen Fashion Week may have come and gone for another season, but our obsession with Scandi style shows no signs of waning. In fact, we're found that the sites we usually scroll on a daily basis are swiftly being places with the likes of Munthe, Wood Wood, Baum und Pferdgarten, and, of course, Ganni, as we desperately await new pieces to drop.
Right now, however, there's one Scandi brand that keeps catching our eye. It isn't new by any means, but its collection for A/W 19 has put it firmly on our radar. The label in question? Samsøe & Samsøe. Born in Copenhagen back in 1993, Samsøe & Samsøe epitomises Danish minimalistic style. We've long considered it a must for basics (it's cotton tees are the best we've come across), but lately, its been pulling out all the fashionable stops with more statement pieces, which haven't gone unnoticed.
Editors and influencers alike started wearing Samsøe & Samsøe's iconic Alsop satin skirt at the start of the year. Now, the latest collection boasts a bounty of other luxe satin finds, as well as brilliant knitwear, cool coats, chic separates and gorgeous dresses. What's more, it's slightly more affordable than other Scandi brands too. Keep scrolling to see how some of our influencer friends are wearing their Samsøe & Samsøe pieces; then shop our edit of the best buys below.
