We Asked TikTok's "Money-Saving Bestie" for All Her Best Drugstore Beauty Dupes
For those who may not know her yet, TikTok star Rocio Soria is about to become your new money-saving bestie. The makeup guru considers herself a pro at finding affordable dupes for higher-end makeup products to save her followers some serious cash in the long run. "For a dupe to be considered an all-time favorite of mine, I must feel confident to recommend it time and time again," she says. "It has to not only look identical on the face but also have a similar longevity and wear [to its high-end counterpart]." I'd say that's a solid criterion and why I now trust Soria with my makeup collection completely.
Keep scrolling to find out all about Soria's favorite drugstore-priced beauty dupes and her exciting new Holiday Heist Collection with Milani.
Soria believes in ballin' on a budget—something I absolutely can't argue with. "As an advocate for accessible beauty who has used Milani Cosmetics since I was in high school, this was the perfect partnership and an absolute dream come true," she shares. "I would constantly see my favorite YouTube beauty gurus creating these luxe looks with high-end products, and while I couldn't afford MAC, Milani was there to bring the color and pigment without breaking the bank."
Soria kept this in mind when working with Milani on this new collection: "For the Holiday Heist eye shadow palettes, I wanted everyone who came across them to be able to achieve an everyday look and a luxe look all in one palette. As a Latina, I need shades that will pop on my skin so Milani and I co-curated each shade to perfectly suit all skin tones. Additionally, I am known across my social platforms as everyone’s 'money-saving bestie' and my motto has always been, 'Never spend more than you need to.' Plus, I always finish my videos with the phrase, 'What do we think?' These soundbites inspired the Holiday Heist eye shadow palette names as the rose and purple-toned palette in the Luxe Jewel Kit is named What Do We Think? and the Allure Gem Kit eye shadow palette made up of emerald green and gold shades is named Money Saving Bestie."
"The Holiday Heist collaboration with Milani holds a significant importance to me as a representation of all first-generation Latinas whose parents are immigrants that brought them here for a better future, and who put their hopes and dreams aside to make sure [their children] accomplished all of theirs. Growing up, I never saw someone with my brown skin on a beauty ad and I hope to help inspire the new generation of young girls."

Soria's Best Drugstore Beauty Dupes and Other Favorite Products
This is one of Soria's "desert island" beauty products. She gave this one a try on TikTok and says the formula blends so easily and is a perfect dupe for more expensive concealers out there on the market.
Soria isn't the first person to tell me this L'Oréal foundation works just as well as higher-end ones. Celebrity makeup artists have also sung its praises for its ability to stay matte, provide full coverage, and is also oil-free for anyone out there who's acne-prone.
As far as bronzing sticks go, Soria will never stop using this Wet N Wild formula in the shade Call Me Maple. It gives you an insane glow with one creamy swipe and truly does it all—contouring, concealing, and highlighting all for just $8.
Soria also swears by Wet N Wild's MegaLast Concealer because not only is it just $5, but it also provides the perfectly matte, buildable coverage that higher-end concealers offer.
I know we all love a good brow wax and Soria says this bad boy from E.l.f. works just as well as pricier formulas. It provides extreme hold and can even offer a fluffy soap brow look minus the actual soap.
If you're a fiend for expensive-looking liquid lipstick, look no further than Maybelline's $13 formula. Soria touts this as one of her all-time favorite drugstore dupes because the pigment rivals higher-end formulas and is totally smudge-proof.
There are so many good makeup products out there that deliver a diamond dust–like finish. A few of my favorites come from Makeup By Mario, Urban Decay, and Fenty Beauty, but Soria says this option from Physicians Formula is definitely worth a try because it comes in at a fabulous drugstore price of $12 and doesn't skimp on quality.
Another Milani favorite of Soria's is the No Pore Zone Mattifying Face Primer. With lily and bamboo extract, it nourishes skin while creating a smooth base for makeup application and provides excess oil control throughout the day.
Although Soria doesn't exactly consider this one a dupe, she does consider it one of the best contour sticks on the market because it doesn't get muddy or patchy and blends like a dream.
"One of my favorite skincare products to splurge on is La Mer’s Crème de La Mer. It's perfect for my dry flaky skin," says Soria.
Soria's fragrance of choice is this floral and flirty option from Gucci. With strong notes of Bulgarian rose, sweet musk, and a woody base, it brings an air of class and sophistication with every spritz.
"I use this every other morning and it instantly gives my dull, dry skin a boost of radiance!" says Soria.
