Rihanna Just Made Ugg Boots Look Ridiculously Cool at the Airport

We always manage to find incredibly chic people at airports around the world, but as Rihanna proves, style and comfort don't have to be mutually exclusive. Touching down at JFK airport in New York City, Rihanna made a cozy, practical outfit look ridiculously cool. One of the highlights of her look is an extra-oversize Raf Simons jacket, which is inspiring us to raid the men's section and not be afraid to order up a size (or three). She also wore a graphic hoodie, customized Dior tote bag, and baggy jeans—the last of which is a huge denim trend right now.

Of course, we couldn't ignore her Ugg boots. The sometimes-controversial shoes have had plenty of celebrity fans this winter, with everyone from Sienna Miller to Natalie Portman wearing them recently. If it's wrong to be the most comfortable person at the airport, I don't want to be right. Scroll down to see Rihanna's travel outfit and shop similar pieces.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
