Exclusive: Rebecca Minkoff to Launch Her New DJ Career at Coachella

You may know Rebecca Minkoff more for her beloved handbags than her music career, but that’s all about to change, as the NY-based designer will be making her debut performance as DJ BECKY at The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California.

The designer-turned-DJ said of her upcoming performance, “I’ve always loved music; it’s definitely a pillar of the brand. I’m so excited to share my new talent with the Coachella audience.” Minkoff aspires to turn her new venture into a viable side career, saying, “ I hope this is just the beginning of future collaborations with fellow Coachella artists like Porter Robinson, David Guetta, Kaskade, and of course Drake!”
