How to Wear Fall's #1 Trend Like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

We can't decide what we love most about the outfit Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wore to Ralph Lauren's show at NYFW. For starters, there's the bold choker necklace, which is a statement-making twist on a trend that's been going strong for quite a while. Then there's her perfect pair of black ankle boots, which are a staple for anyone's fall wardrobe. But if we had to play favorites, we'd pick her sumptuous velvet dress, which touches on the arguably the biggest trend of the season. We've already seen velvet on the likes of Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin, and it will only pick up more steam as we head into fall.

While the star-studded front row was certainly to be predicted, there was one element of the Ralph Lauren show that was completely different from past seasons: It featured the designer's first see-now-buy-now collection. The fall 2016 collection presented on the runway last night is ready to shop online, so you better get clicking.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
