The Contents of This Celebrity Makeup Artist's Beauty Bag Total £857
If you've ever wanted to know what's really inside the makeup bags of the most stylish women in the industry, you're in luck. We've created a new column—Show Me the (Makeup) Money—to uncover the beauty products our fashion friends genuinely keep in their daily rotation—and how much their stash actually costs. I'll be delving inside their bags on your behalf and totting up every item in there, from the most expensive to the cheapest. Not only will you be left with an incredible shopping list, but also a realistic price tag to boot. Is there someone whose makeup bag you're dying to see inside? Slide into my Instagram DMs with your requests, and I'll see what I can do. This month, we're delving inside the everyday makeup bag of celebrity makeup artist Rachel Singer Clark.
Having painted the faces of everyone from Kate Moss to Jessie Ware, what Rachel Singer Clark doesn't know about makeup probably isn't worth knowing. Working on everything from film sets and editorial shoots to fashion shows and advertising, Rachel has over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry—which is why I was so damn excited to get a peek into her personal makeup bag and the products that she swears by. Totalling a cool £857, it certainly didn't disappoint. (And that's without taking into account her stash of makeup brushes from MAC, Shu Uemura and Hakuhodo.) Keep scrolling to shop Rachel's everyday beauty must-haves for yourself—including skincare, makeup and fragrance.
Rachel's fragrance of choice is this fresh, floral scent that combines the spicy notes of tuberose with white musk.
"I take Lumity tablets day and night—religiously—to help with hair, skin, nail regrowth and strengthening."
"The majority of my contents is skincare, as I am a skincare-obsessed addict, to put it lightly. I believe if your skin is in great shape, you barely need much makeup. Just a few tweaks in the right places and you're good to go. My preferred cream for the morning is La Mer."

"I'm a tan addict and am always trialling and testing for the holy grail for fake tans. I'm currently obsessing over the St. Tropez Dark Tan Bronzing Lotion. It looks scary as you buff it out but lasts longer and gives a deeper tan. Sleep in it overnight, wear loose pyjamas and always use the mitt to apply."
"For my face, I prep my skin with my Clarisonic and the Elemis Superfood cleanser."
"I also have a spritz of my Mauli mist for mind, body and soul. It's the perfect size too."
"Then I apply this Dr.Jart serum for anti-redness relief—a total godsend."
"For lips (mine are always dry), this treatment is great for plumping. Who doesn't want extra help with their pout?"
"I'm obsessed with SPF, and I really adore the texture of this product and the fact that it has SPF 50 in it. The coverage is lovely and dewy. Plus, you can use the tiniest amount and blend it out with enough moisture on the skin, so it's barely noticeable."
"I always have the Make Up For Ever palette, as it covers a range of shades and means I can tailor the tone to me that day. Plus, I can use the darker shades for contour and other things if needed."
"I can't live without my Ben Nye corrector pencil. It's the perfect texture and colour for under-eye circles and blemishes."

"I use Shu Uemura eyelash curlers. I bought all the stock the shop had left before they sadly closed their store on Monmouth Street a while back, so I have a stash that will hopefully last me a lifetime."
"My new favourite mascara is this one from Clarins. It doesn't coat the lashes with too much product but leaves them feathery and lifted for an eye-opening effect."
"My brows are microbladed, but I fill my arch in very slightly with this MAC eyebrow pencil in Lingering."
"I pop some RMS Lip2Cheek in Spell on my cheeks with my fingers, dabbing on the apples for a slightly flushed coral feel."
"My favourite black eye pencil is this Hourglass one for my inner lash line, top and bottom. I have road tested many, and this one—with its tiny precise shape—means that you give one twist and never go wrong."
"I always have a stash of these pointed cotton buds to clean up any mess from mascara."
"I have wide eyes, so I tend to contour my socket line and above to help define my eye shape with a touch of MAC Paint Pot in Groundwork."
"Then I use this Charlotte Tilbury pencil in an iridescent brown on my lower lash line and blend it out slightly with my finger to soften into the lashes."
