6 Pretty Trends That Will Make Your Jeans Look Very 2025

If you love yourself a chic denim look that perhaps just dips its toe into the current fashion mood, you're in the right place. This year is already serving up a lovely little assortment of easy-to-tap pretty trends, all of which are really going to thrive when they meet your favorite pair of jeans.

One thing to know about these so-called pretty fashion trends (particularly if they clash with your typical fashion vibe) is that they don't require your overall style to be "pretty" at all. In fact, they're often at their best when juxtaposed with something from the opposite end of the style spectrum—like last summer's sharp longline vests worn over flowy white midi skirts or, my favorite, regular old denim.

From 2025's major color trend to some charming accessories and ultra-soft knitwear that can only be described as lovely, these six highly wearable trends will have your go-to jeans outfits feeling just a little bit pretty and very up-to-date.

Chain Belts

When Loewe, Miu Miu, Saint Laurent, and Chloé are all aligned on an accessory trend, it's hard not to pay attention. Delicate chain belts are suddenly all over my feed, and they're unapologetically decorative, bringing a little whimsy to chic winter denim outfits everywhere I look.

Brushed Knits

I have great news for anyone else whose mainly interested in being cozy: Brushed knits are having themselves a moment. The pretty texture is just so lovely to juxtapose with the toughness of denim, so take your pick from all the ultra-soft styles that are currently on offer, and prepare yourself for strangers to ask if they can touch your sweater.

Boho Blouses

In the wake of last fall's onslaught of boho-inspired fashion, these whimsical blouses are proving to have staying power, and they may be every bit as relevant come spring and summer. Ruffles, lace, dramatic sleeves—it's the Chloé moment that just won't quit.

Powder Pink

After seasons of punchy red and rich burgundy, we're softening into powder pink for 2025. The best part? All these hues play so beautifully together, so don't think twice about pairing a soft-pink knit with jeans and your burgundy shoulder bag, loafers, or coat and calling it a (very chic) day.

Slingbacks

If your interpretation of pretty is more like perfectly polished, I couldn't love that more. Classic slingbacks have been doing great work making jeans look chicer these past few years, from easy flats to kitten heels.

Fringe Jackets

Twenty-twenty-five isn't done yet with the bohemian-inspired style notes, as the fringe trend would like to remind you. Be warned that the pretty movement of these elevated fringe jackets, from wool to vegan suede and leather, makes it very hard not to turn around dramatically for no reason at all.
