The Fashion Crowd Is Going Crazy Over These Pretty Birkenstocks
The fashion crowd's love affair with Birkenstocks, the ultimate "ugly" shoes, shows no signs of waning, especially with today's arrival of a new limited-edition collection at Barneys. In celebration of the collection and NYFW, Barneys set up a mobile pop-up shop called The Birkenstock Box, today through September 12, in New York's Meatpacking District. But in case you can't make it to the city, Barneys and Birkenstock are each selling the collection on their respective sites as of today, but you'll have to hurry—many of the best styles sold out practically immediately in a number of sizes.
The design offerings include rose gold, patent leather, pink fur–lined (now completely sold out, sadly), leopard print, studded, and holographic options.
