This Fashion Collaboration Has the Least Likely Inspiration

If you were obsessed—either publicly or privately—with this past summer’s biggest app sensation, Pokémon Go, take some comfort in knowing you’re not alone. In fact, one of the fashion world’s most impressive and successful designers of the moment is right there with you. Look no further for proof than Prabal Gurung’s newest, and perhaps least expected, designer collaboration.

The exclusive Prabal Gurung x Pokémon line just landed at Jeffrey New York today. While fans of the New York–based Nepalese designer might best know him for his elegant use of prints, silhouettes balancing restraint and fluidity, and, well, experience dressing First Lady Michelle Obama, they’ll see a very cheeky approach in this current nine-piece collection. Not to mention a bit of humor, lightheartedness, and nostalgia.

Plus, if your love for catching wild Pokémon cannot be contained, there is at least now a high-fashion way to show it.

Scroll down for a look at the pieces currently in-store and online at Jeffrey New York.
