Sofia Richie Grainge Loves This Brand—9 Fall Finds I Tried and Love Too
Welcome to The Great Try-On. We're gearing up for fall, and that includes freshening up our wardrobes with some new pieces. We got to try on some of the best fall pieces from some of your favorite brands and documented it all from our own personal "dressing rooms" so that you can see how they actually look IRL. We hope that our photos and candid reviews will help you shop for fall wardrobe builders and trend-forward pieces that you'll wear over and over this season and beyond.
Posse is an Australia-based brand that has been on the map as a go-to destination for semi-affordable, timeless pieces for quite some time. If you're looking for classic items that will prove to be the workhorses in your wardrobe, look no further than Posse. While the brand has been beloved by fashion insiders since its inception, it wasn't until Sofia Richie Grainge wore a matching Posse set during her wedding weekend that the brand went completely viral. The set immediately sold out and has been coming in and out of stock ever since.
I've been tempted to try the brand for a while, and I figured the start of a new season was the perfect time. Posse recently dropped a handful of amazing fall pieces, and I put them to the test. I chose not to try the viral set since you've likely seen it everywhere by now (I still love it, though), so instead, I tried some of the new fall pieces you haven't seen, including even more matching sets, the perfect slip dress, and more. Scroll down to see my review of all the Posse pieces I tried on for fall and shop even more of my favorites from the brand.
Posse Lena Shirt & Frankie Pants
My review: This set is so easy. It's also extremely comfortable. The material is lightweight and soft, yet it looks incredibly polished. I love the set worn together, but each piece also looks incredible styled separately. I've already worn the trousers with a crew-neck sweater and boots and the shirt with skirts and jeans.

Posse Wyatt Trousers
My review: It's hard to find a good pair of relaxed trousers, but my hunt is officially over. This pair, while certainly a tad oversize on me, still looks polished and tailored, which is just the combination I've been looking for. I love styling pants like this in the obvious way, as shown here with the button-down, but also super casually with a T-shirt and sneakers.

Posse Hugo Long Sleeve Top & Shorts
My review: And just like that, I found another matching set. This striped shorts-and-top set is what lazy-girl outfits are made of. There are tons of fun ways to style this cozy set, which makes it 100% worth it. I love how I styled it here, tying the shirt around my waist to elevate the look a bit more. Realistically, I'm styling it with chunky socks and some Birkenstocks for a perfect L.A. fall look.

Posse Oscar T-Shirt & Skirt
My review: Okay, I guess I'm not done with the sets yet. This black T-shirt-and-skirt set is basic in all the right ways. Each piece serves as a strong wardrobe workhorse, and they look equally as chic when worn together. The material is a stretchy jersey, which means it's super comfortable—something you can't always say for a body-con look like this.

Posse Matilda Dress
My review: I'm hard to impress when it comes to slip dresses, but I think I've officially met my match. I love the color of this dress, and the double straps make it just a tad more interesting. This can easily be dressed up or down. Trust me—the material is so soft that you'll never want to take it off.
Shop the item:
Posse Otto Overall
My review: Overalls have never really been my thing, but I was curious to try them out since I love everything Posse comes out with. I wanted to elevate the look with some pointed pumps and kept it simple on top with a black tee. I could easily see myself wearing this with a sweater underneath or tied around the waist. Am I a full overalls convert? Probably not, but I do love this pair.
