I'm a Nordstrom Designer, and I Think These 2021 Items Will Be Most Popular
When it comes to our go-to shops, Nordstrom consistently ranks high on the list. The retailer routinely stocks a variety of items to suit a range of styles. In fact, it’s the brand’s assortment of in-house lines that are often particularly intriguing. That’s right. The Nordstrom Made offering—including Zella, Treasure & Bond, Leith, and more—carries a wide variety of on-trend and versatile pieces that are usually the front-runners in our carts.
Given the appeal of the brands, we recently highlighted the pieces one of the Nordstrom Made designers is coveting for the season for some fresh perspective. Well, we thought we’d tap another designer to get further insight into some of the must-try items. Below you’ll uncover the new items senior designer of Nordstrom Made, Leann Littlewood, thinks will be most popular in 2021.
Keep scrolling to check out the general items Littlewood is into, complete with a variety of inspired shopping picks from the lines.
The Cropped Cardi
"Gone are the days of cardigans being just a layering piece. Wear it buttoned without the added thought of what to wear under it and pair it back to your favorite denim. A great wear-now style that will carry you all the way through the spring.”—Littlewood
The Shirt Jacket
"The shirt jacket trend is finding its way into multiple fabrications—from classic plaids to cozy, printed knits. The options are endless so it’ll be easy to find one (or two) to complete your look.”
The Velour Set
"This emerging trend is a throwback to the early 2000s. There’s no denying you’ll be ultra-comfortable while also looking oh-so chic.”
The Midi Dress
"We’re loving the versatility and comfort of the stretchy fabric. Buy it in black for a more classic look, or go for a marble print for a more trend-forward piece.”
The Flare Pants
"Find your way to comfort while also looking trendy in these versatile athleisure pants. Whether in a cozy rib or classic yoga styling, flared pants are perfect for at-home loungewear or out and about.”
The Loose Sweats
"For a more oversize street vibe, menswear pieces and looser sweats are a perfect addition to your spring wardrobe. Wear a hoodie with matching shorts or pair with your favorite leggings.”
