When celebs aren't stepping out in full glam for an event or attending a red carpet, the outfits we usually spot them in are of the low-key, casual variety. I'm talking about what they wear while heading out to a Pilates class, perusing the farmers market, or walking the dog, and nine times out of 10, these casual outfits feature sneakers. Stars—they're just like us, right?

Sure, their closets may be filled with luxury designer pieces, but when it comes to their taste in sneakers, our favorite well-dressed celebs don't like to get fussy with anything fancy. So far in 2023, the most popular celebrity sneakers are coming from the likes of New Balance, Adidas, and Asics, and their favored pairs rarely top $150, which means it's never been easier to emulate their cool weekend looks.

From the cool "dad" kicks that Hailey Bieber wore three times last week to Olivia Wilde's comfy Nordstrom pick, we're diving into six popular celebrity sneakers that our favorite A-listers are wearing nonstop. Continue on to see (and of course, shop) them all.

Whatever Hailey Bieber wears, we pay attention to. Lately, she's been stepping out a lot in New Balance's latest launch, a modern "dad" sneaker called the 2002R style. The sporty look and feel make them ideal for wearing with staples like crew socks and leggings or bike shorts like Bieber has been doing.

Laura Harrier's everyday outfits are a case study in low-key cool style and they're often anchored by her go-to pair of sneakers, the New Balance 550s, a late '80s basketball style that fashion insiders are also obsessed with. Like them, Harrier prefers wearing the sneakers with wardrobe classics like relaxed denim, cardigans, and leather jackets. While their initial buzz made them nearly impossible to track down, they've become somewhat easier to find in stock on sites like Farfetch, StockX, and on occasion, directly via New Balance's site.

Adidas' wildly popular Samba sneakers boast some of the world's most beloved supermodels as loyal fans including Bella Hadid, Kaia Gerber, and Kendall Jenner, making them the unofficial sneakers of model-off-duty style in 2023. Their retro shape and streamlined look have caught on in a major way recently and

New Balance is home to so many trending styles that it's easy to overlook their older, but no less cool, classics. At least EmRata is making a point not to do so. Recently, the model, writer, and podcaster has worn her 574 sneakers on a few back-to-back occasions, like here with this Coperni fall 2022 runway look, and it's bubbled the sneakers back up on our radar.

We predicted that Asics gel sneakers would become the next "ugly but cool" pair to know, and Addison Rae's recent outfits are confirming their rise. We've seen the Gen Z It girl sporting the Gel-Nimbus 9 Sneakers, a cream-hued pair designed in collaboration with Jessica Gonsalves from the NYC vintage outpost, Procell. We think it's only a matter of time until more celebs follow suit.

Whenever we spot Olivia Wilde heading to or from a workout, which happens quite often, the film director and actress is reliably wearing her favorite pair of sneakers, Adidas Ultraboosts. And since she often wears all-black attire (or at least black leggings) to exercise, her trusty black-on-black trainers are easy to coordinate with every workout look.
