I'm Just As Obsessed With Phoebe Waller-Bridge's Style As I Am With Her Work
If 2019 belongs to anyone, it’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge. At worst, you’ve at least heard her name in passing. At best, you—like us—will be but one face in her mighty legion of loyal fans. Fans who have deeply resonated with her work, for Waller-Bridge is the woman behind the embarrassingly acclaimed Fleabag, which she stars in and pens. She's also responsible for the TV adaptation of the Villanelle novellas: Ever heard of a little show called Killing Eve? On top of that, she’s somehow found the time to land roles in Solo and Goodbye Christopher Robin, in addition to co-writing Bond 25, which is slated for release in 2020.
Indeed, Waller-Bridge is a busy lady. And being busy in showbiz means one thing: a plethora of public appearances. Be it interviews, press junkets or red carpet forays, she's regularly in the spotlight, and this has required dozens of carefully considered outfits. Androgynous and graceful in equal measure. Waller-Bridge’s style is somewhat undefinable, changing with every look. From sharp suiting to gowns with minimalistic silhouettes, her one constant seems to be her signature red lip. With a wardrobe as broad as her talent, Waller-Bridge certainly makes for an interesting style case study.
