Penelope Cruz Wore Just a Blazer and Fishnets on the Red Carpet in Paris

Is there anything more French than wearing a pants-less Chanel blazer look (fresh off the S/S 23 runway) with fishnets on the red carpet in Paris? Probably, but Penelope Cruz very much nailed the fun, glamorous aspect of French style last night while promoting L'immensità, a French-Italian film that Cruz stars in.
Cruz has been a Chanel ambassador for years, and we honestly can't remember the last time she made a public appearance not wearing head-to-toe Chanel, so this look comes as no surprise. And while we're used to seeing celebs go sans pants on the red carpet, it still makes us do a double take.
Cruz really nailed the pants-less trend and looked chicer than ever in a long black tweed blazer and an array of Chanel accessories, including a heart-shaped bag, a hair bow, and a sparky belt and earrings. Instead of pants, she opted for neutral fishnet stockings, which she paired with round-toe pumps. She looks stunning, and she's inspiring us to buy a blazer long enough to potentially pass as a dress. If you feel influenced as well, scroll to shop a few that would work—red carpet or not.
