Not long ago, Paris Hilton fangirled over this gorgeous dress from designer By Johnny on Instagram, and we’re right there with her. Commenting on Australian model Tahnee Atkinson’s Instagram, Hilton swooned, “I need that dress”. Well, we’ve got some good news for her (and the rest of us): The dress is finally available to purchase online.
Better yet, though the dress is by no means cheap, it’s not Paris-Hilton-levels of unattainable, clocking in under $500. We’d like to note, for something so unique and intricate, it looks a lot more expensive than it actually is. While the high neck and longer length give the gown a modest silhouette, the honeycomb sequins are undeniably flashy. And a close inspection of the dress confirms that it’s this unique combo that keeps the dress feeling glam in a good way (read: Not club-y).
We don’t know about you, but we’re following Hilton’s lead and adding this dress to our wish list. We’re also taking this as more proof that Australian fashion is gaining momentum. Like many other Australian brands, By Johnny is undoubtedly making a name for itself in the international fashion scene. So what better reason to splurge? You’re supporting a local brand, after all.
