These Are the Most Popular Boots in Paris
Boot season is in full swing, and if you’re planning on adding a new pair to your closet, now is the time to order the ones you’ll be wearing for the months ahead. But which styles are worth investing in? While fall trends from the runway shows are a great place to start, my impulse is always to see which styles the fashion set is wearing in real life. And right now, I’m looking at boot trends hitting the streets of Paris.
Between all of the outfits spotted during fashion week and recent looks we’re seeing from the stylish locals, there are plenty of covetable boots appearing on the streets of Paris right now. Whether you’re in the market for true statement boots like Chanel’s metallic thigh-high version or everyday ankle boots with a signature embellishment, there’s a wide range of styles that fashion girls are endorsing for fall. Scroll down to see which boots styles are popular in Paris right now and to shop pieces inspired by the biggest trends.
THIGH-HIGH
If you really want to make a statement, try out a pair of thigh-high boots paired with a tailored blazer.
You can also opt for a black version to wear season after season.
WHITE
White boots have been a trend for many seasons now but are here to stick around.
If you already have an ankle boot version, try out a bolder over-the-knee style.
SUEDE KNEE-HIGH
Suede boots are one of the most widely endorsed styles among French girls.
SNAKESKIN
Animal prints have exploded for fall—including faux-snakeskin pieces like these boots.
These hit just below the knee.
EMBELLISHED
If you want to put a new spin on your standard ankle boots, try out an embellished version.
The perfect complement to straight-leg jeans.
