It should come as no surprise that, as a digital fashion team, we have a Slack channel dedicated to, well, shopping. It's a space where we drop the most epic shopping finds that have stood out to us lately, and a quick scroll through the recent posts reveals everything from our shared obsession with Miu Miu's satin ballet flats to Nordstrom's most expensive-looking new arrival, which leads me to the topic of today's story: the Open Edit Satin Midi Dress that my colleague Natalie dropped in the channel.

If you're not already familiar, Open Edit is one of Nordstrom's in-house brands whose forward silhouettes I'm always shocked to see are under $100. The dress I'm showcasing here is certainly no exception. It's a simple slip dress with a pretty gathered halter neckline and ankle-length hem, and it comes in two colors, a sophisticated burgundy hue and a trendier tangerine shade. As soon as I saw how good the dress looked on Natalie, I was immediately impressed and had to check it out for myself.

Clearly, the dress translates off-screen, seeing as it looks just as good IRL as it appears online. To shop it for yourself and see more luxe-looking finds I'm eyeing right now, just keep scrolling.
