It's 86 Degrees in Paris, and Olivia Palermo Chose These Shoes

Haute Couture week in Paris may be the pinnacle of dressed-up street style. While designers send gowns down the runway, those sitting in the front row have a chance to wear equally stunning pieces from the likes of Chanel and Dior. But there's one street style star who tops the best dressed list year after year: Olivia Palermo. The New Yorker is in town to attend the shows, but she's also busy putting her own spin on couture.
Case in point: Palermo attended the Giambattista Valli show dressed in a feather-lined purple frock but went for a surprising footwear choice. It's currently a toasty 86 degrees in Paris, which normally would make sandals of some sort a necessity, but instead, Palermo chose to style the embellished minidress with a pair of contrasting sequin brogues. Are her feet hot in her shoes of choice? Maybe. But her styling choice feels like an especially fun and nontraditional way to style such an eye-catching dress. Read on to see the look and to shop similar shoes now.
