Ask any fashion editor for their swimwear recommendations, and they’ll likely list Mikoh as one of their top contenders. The swimwear line was co-founded by sisters Oleema and Kalani Miller, with Oleema taking the helm in the design and creative processes. As a former professional surfer, Oleema has lovingly incorporated her ties to the ocean and travel into the look and feel of the brand.

These days, the designer calls Hawaii her home and starts every day with a dip in the ocean. Keep scrolling to see the rest of Oleema's morning, including the self-care rituals she holds most sacred to her.

I am beyond blessed to wake up every morning to the sound of birds chirping and waves crashing. I'm instantly calmed the second I wake up, and it really sets the tone for my day.

After morning snuggles with my dog, Panda, we head down to the beach. Every morning without fail (and before my first cup of coffee), I'll jump in the ocean. This is a routine I've honored since I moved into my beach house. I'll sit on the beach, meditate, and go through a mental checklist of what I need to accomplish that day.

It's shower time! My morning outdoor shower time is sacred to me, and I never skip it after an ocean dip. Something about the water running over me under the palm trees swaying is just magical.

After I dry off and head back into my house, I'll start my skincare routine. If you know me, this is the most essential part of my morning routine. My skincare lineup includes my personal hero products like Goop Glow Flower Acids Resurfacing Toner, Osea Hyaluronic Sea Serum, Symbiome The Answer Reparative Serum, Beautycounter Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer, and EltaMD UV Restore Broad-Spectrum SPF 40.

My two mantras that carry throughout my morning routine are "skin is within" and "health is wealth." Every morning, I'll take vitamins and herbs recommended by my holistic acupuncturist. I've noticed a vast difference in my skin, gut, energy, and overall well-being since being put on a regular supplement routine.

And finally, coffee! Coffee is a total treat to me in the mornings, and I make a rewarding cup of Americano every morning and add extra energy-boosting adaptogens from Hello Goldie. Alongside enjoying my morning cup of coffee, I light a candle and write in my anti-anxiety journal before I truly start my day.

I've never been a pancakes-waffles-and-syrup breakfast type of girl, and my body has always craved savory meals in the morning. Sometimes I even opt for pasta or soup in the mornings! My go-to breakfast, however, is a tofu breakfast packed with lots of veggies and greens for fuel.

Time to get to work (and carry on counting my blessings throughout the day!).
