While NYFW wrapped a couple weeks ago, there’s one trend that’s still on my mind from the week full of fashion. When it comes to street style, the unexpected item I spotted on nearly every showgoer was a bold blazer. I’m referring to the very ’80s-inspired blazers with overly broad shoulders. The statement piece was on nearly every street corner in NYC and was styled in a variety of ways. While the “extra” detail lends an anything but subtle look, it’s sure to be one of the most popular outerwear trends of the season.
