All the It Items in NYC Right Now
New York is one of those magical places where you can spot the birth of trends in real time. Diverse, culturally rich neighborhoods with fashion across the gamut all weave together to showcase a city that is, simply put, never short on style. In the spirit of our love for NYC, we set out to discover what the current It items are in the city, and we did so by turning to Manhattan-based women on Instagram. Scouring their accounts, we found a mix of aesthetics: flamboyant prints, streetwear-inspired accessories, and a couple of new cult brands we suspect will be everywhere shortly. Thankfully, all of these pieces are shoppable (for now!), which means you can add your picks to your closet no matter where you call home. Scroll down for 11 statement items we're excited about right now.
This NYC-based label creates bags and shoes that consistently become cult favorites. This little sucker is no exception.
We've been eyeing Emme Parsons's footwear for some time now and can't get enough of her interpretation of mules for fall. If white seems too daring, rest assured she also offers these in other colors that go with everything.
This breezy bohemian label is nothing short of dreamy.
'Tis the season for a fresh assortment of statement jackets and coats, and what better brand to turn to than Saks Potts? Its selection is reliably sweet and playful.
You've likely seen and subsequently fallen in love with a Hayward bag by now. For a while, it seemed as though every influencer and editor was carrying one version or another of the brand's Shopper Bag. We love this embroidered tote for fall for the office and weekend outings.

Ganni's selection of prints this season is especially inspiring.
Jump on the pendant necklace bandwagon!
We love an affordable bag that stylishly hovers between trend-forward and subtle aesthetics.
The easiest way to love your style for fall and winter is by investing in a coat you love, like this plaid beauty by Khaite.
