After some highly scientific research (chatting to friends and tallying the shopping requests that come in via my DMs, very advanced stuff), I can conclude that most of our shopping lists currently include at least one of the following items: cozy winter coats, great-value beauty gift sets, on-trend boots, endless ideas for gifts, and chic knits—everyone seems to be in the mood for a new sweater.
I'm happy to report that I've found excellent deals on all of the above at Nordstrom's secret sale, which seems to have popped up just in time to take the edge off our holiday-season expenditures. Let's start with those sweaters.

From on-sale cashmere to on-trend red knits, all of these styles feel just right for the holidays—without being actual holiday sweaters. I have to say the fact that red is still so on-trend is extremely convenient for tapping some low-key festivity.

It's that magical time of year when our favorite beauty brands release seasonal gift sets—perfect for stocking up on your favorites, test-driving new products, and nabbing travel-friendly sizes for your holiday carry-on. These ones were already excellent value, but the Nordstrom sale is treating us to even deeper discounts.
Cozy Coats
There are such great deals on coats that would still be worth it at full price, from elevated wool trenches at 40% off to casual jackets and cozy-lined styles that will get you through the holidays.
Endless Gift Ideas
I happen to think that socks and candles are excellent gifts. I don't know why we try to fight it every year. An honorable mention goes to accessories with trending whipstitch details plus these cheery olive oil and vinegar sets that seem to be the buzzy gift of the moment—I've spotted them in the kitchens of several chic friends recently.
On-Trend Boots
