This Nordstrom Brand Just Launched a Ton of New Pieces—16 in Our Editors' Carts
As someone who has only recently discovered the treasure trove of affordable trends and basics from Nordstrom's in-house brand Open Edit, you can imagine my excitement when an email arrived in my inbox bringing my attention to a slew of new arrivals. For spring, the brand will be launching more than 60 warm weather–ready styles, starting with the selection below. Featuring everything from on-trend crochet maxi dresses and cargo skirts to comfy flat slides and elevated takes on essentials like suits and T-shirts, Open Edit is quickly becoming my one-stop shop for the spring and summer seasons ahead.
With so many worthwhile options to choose from, I thought I'd call on my trusted Who What Wear co-workers to find out which pieces from the spring collection are already being added to their digital shopping carts. And just as I expected, their picks did not disappoint. Ahead, shop the Open Edit pieces they're investing in for spring.
Shop Bobby's pick:
"I'm very into cargo pockets right now, and this skirt feels quite fresh."
Shop Kat's picks:
"The slight sheen on this utility jacket is pure luxe-spring energy. I could honestly see a pricey brand like Totême making this, so let's just say I'm super pleased with the price."
"This tank dress is relatively straightforward until you see the layered asymmetrical strap. I'm all about classics with a twist, and this easy piece absolutely checks that box."
Shop Ally's pick:
"People keep talking about how good Open Edit's shoes are. I think I'm ready to try a pair via these comfortable-looking heels."
Shop Anna's picks:
"I'm a sucker for a good suit—yes, even in the dead of summer. This linen version feels relaxed and lightweight for warmer weather, and I think it would look especially cool dressed down with a white T-shirt and some chunky sandals."
Shop Eliza's picks:
"Ever since Prada included point-toe slingbacks in its S/S 22 collection, I've been on the lookout for a similar, albeit far more affordable, pair. And now, I've found it."
"I'm calling it: Crochet maxi dresses will be *the* dresses for summer, especially for days at the beach or on vacation."
"The perfect tube top, found. From the print to the colors, this top will make just the right statement for summer."
Shop Sierra's pick:
"Crochet is going to be bigger than ever this summer, but I can get a little wary about showing too much skin. That's why I'm all over this skirt that is so flattering without giving too much away."
Shop Indya's picks:
"I’m crowning this summer tube-top season, and I've already started with adding this pretty printed one to my wish list."
"I'm all for cool abstract prints, and I love the mixture of green and yellow. So tropical."
Shop Grace's pick:
"Once the weather gets warmer, ribbed midi dresses are quite literally my uniform. I wear them to run errands. I wear them to work. I wear them to happy hour. They are so comfortable, and honestly, a ribbed midi is almost like wearing a glorified nightgown. This Open Edit ribbed midi is definitely going to be added to my collection."
Shop Yusra's picks:
"Maxi hemlines are a huge trend for 2022, and I will most definitely be championing the trend with this dress for the summertime. I can see myself layering a crisp linen shirt over it and wearing sleek slides to finish the look off."
"The slides I mentioned above? I don't own them yet, but I'm imagining they would be these."
Shop Kristen's pick:
"I'm in the market for some new pajamas, and I'm adding this cozy-looking set to my shopping list."
Shop more can't-miss styles from Open Edit's spring collection:
This blazer looks so expensive. It's almost hard to believe it's under $80.
I could've sworn this dress was from the designer department.
