I'm on a Budget, but These On-Sale Beauty Products at Nordstrom Are Worth Buying
I'm going to be honest: I've put a pause on most of my spending recently. I'm trying to save as much money as possible right now, so when it comes to clothes and beauty products, I've been pretty budget-conscious. I am, however, never one to pass up a sale—particularly if it means that I can snag some of the more expensive products I love at a more affordable price. It's currently Nordstrom's Half-Yearly Sale, which means that there has never been a better time to peruse the sale section. I scoured all of the on-sale beauty products that I think are worth spending money on—regardless of budget. Keep reading for my favorite picks.
The secret to inviting people over and having them ask what smells so damn good? Boy Smells candles. This particular candle features notes like cannabis, tulip, lilac, purple cassis, white musk, amber, and suede. The bright, herbaceous notes blend with the more floral top notes to create a scent that instantly sets the mood.
This highly-rated eyeliner is an established cult favorite. "Over the years, as I've aged, I've tried many other higher-end liners (YSL, Laura Mercier, Dior, and Chanel), but I always end up coming back to Clinique Quickliner," said one reviewer. "The first time I purchased this eyeliner was over 15 years ago, and I remember how much I liked the way it smoothed on without me having to tug or pull on my lid. It's still the same."
Red lipsticks are notoriously tough to shop for. However, this one has warm, brick-leaning undertones that flatter every skin tone. It's highly pigmented, but still feels moisturizing, ensuring lips never feel dry or flaky.
This pink lipstick is a dusty rose, making it the perfect pink for any and every occasion. The formula is matte, non-drying, and long-wearing. Plus, the packaging is as chic as it gets.
The Hungarian skincare brand Omorovicza is one of my absolute favorites. Each product mimics the experience of going to the baths in Budapest, thanks to the brand's patented healing concentrate, which is included in every product. It's one of those luxurious skincare lines that makes you feel like you're pampering yourself with every use. Being able to try four products for less than the price that one would typically cost is a major steal.
There's pretty much nothing this foundation can't do. Like a serum, it's packed with vitamin C, salicylic acid, and hyaluronic acid. However, it offers all the benefits of a full-coverage foundation, making your skin look smooth and even. Additionally, it has SPF 25, so it helps protect your skin as well.
Gift this set of Boy Smells' bestsellers or keep them all for yourself and make every room in your living space smell absolutely enchanting.
I just found your go-to summer eyeshadow. This bronze-gold shadow goes on smoothly and never causes any fallout.
Consider this at-home oxygen facial as an in-office treatment in a bottle. It utilizes oxygen and hyaluronic acid to plump the skin and combat dehydration.
It couldn't get any easier to apply eyeshadow than with this stick formula. It provides a dreamy wash of ultra-flattering color that stays in place all day without creasing.
Bobbi Brown's Pot Rouge is an iconic product for a reason. It's incredibly versatile and perfect for both lips and cheeks. It's blendable, buildable, and extremely easy to use.
Summer skin, coming right up! This buttery bronzer has a hint of shimmer that imparts a stunning, sun-kissed glow to the skin in seconds.
MAC's Macstack mascara quickly became a bestseller thanks to its clump-resistant, lengthening, and volumizing formula. In the realm of mascaras, it's hard to find a better option. Not only does it deliver the same incredible formula, but this version also boasts an adorable design.
ExfoliKate is one of Somerville's most well-known products for a reason. It utilizes three different types of acid to leave the skin baby-smooth and radiant.
This lipstick not only imparts color but is also infused with a balm to hydrate the lips at the same time.
