I'm a new mom, which, for those of you who aren't new moms, means I do a lot of scrolling when it comes to shopping for myself and not a lot of buying these days. They told me a baby was expensive, and they were right. While my son is the best thing that's ever happened to me, it goes without saying that my spending habits have changed. I still love clothes, but since I now have more pressing items, like a toy shell phone, to buy, I have to be more strategic about my clothing buys than I used to be.
Enter Nordys. Regardless of why you're on a budget, Nordstrom consistently offers a wide range of chic yet affordable options that make this very tired mom feel like the cat's meow. A word to the wise: Don't sleep on its in-house brands Open Edit and Treasure & Bond. Both have excellent basics that wind up being steeply discounted much of the time.
