Nordstrom's Epic Anniversary Sale Is Here—and This Is What I'm Buying
Sponsor Content Created With Nordstrom
I consider myself a pretty strategic shopper. While I do spend my fair share on full-price items (cough!), I love a good deal. And now that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is in full swing, I’ve done some extensive scouring, and wow, the beauty deals—from skincare and makeup to tools—are insanely good. So in the spirit of not wanting you to miss out, I’m sharing everything I’m adding to my cart. PS, not to pressure you or anything, but there are limited quantities available and items are known to sell out, so start shopping now!
I’m obviously a huge skincare fan, so the fact that this three-piece set comes with the essentials needed to help my skin look more radiant and smooth is what sold me. It comes with two full-size serums and a travel-size eye cream. It’s also worth noting that this set is valued to be $80 more than it’s listed at—a true steal.
I’m a huge believer in trying out fragrances before committing to a full bottle—even when I’m familiar with the brand. That’s why this Jo Malone cologne set was an obvious choice. It comes with Nectarine Blossom and Honey; Peony and Blush Suede; Wild Bluebell; Wood Sage and Sea Salt; and English Pear and Freesia. There’s a huge variety of scents happening, so if anything, I’ll have options to rotate through based on how I’m feeling.
Okay, I technically already have a blow dryer I love, but I have a guest bathroom that needs its own. (Am I the only one who hates having to share mine?) Aside from looking great, T3 always comes through with fast-drying tools that don’t damage your hair. Also, shoutout to T3 the compact design!
I’m basically obsessed with all things Trish McEvoy, and this skincare set is no joke. Not only is it perfect to travel with, but it’s also stocked with everything needed to maintain a perfect routine. Gentle cleansing wash? Check. Exfoliating pads? You got it (40, to be exact). Peel? Yep, there’s a two-week treatment! Serum? Obviously. Oil? Duh. Eye serum? Eye mask? Yes, yes. Vitamin C? It wouldn’t be complete without it. SPF? You don’t even need to ask.
My husband thinks I buy too many candles, but when there’s a Diptyque set as good as this one, I have to tune him out. Anyone familiar with the brand knows that these are the best-smelling candles out there. It comes with five different scents: Berries, Wood Fire, Fig Tree, Mimosa, and Roses—in other words, one for each room of my house. (Sorry, hubs!)
Have you ever seen such a pretty palette? I’m totally drawn to it because everything is fairly neutral—a bit of a surprise, given that MAC is known for being a bit out there. There are 12 warm and cool eye shadows to pick from, plus a blush and highlighter—basically every shade you could possibly need for creating any sort of look.
I’m a huge Kiehl’s fan, and any time I can stock up, I do. My skin can get really dry in the summer and in the winter, but this body moisturizer always seems to help when I need something more. (It’s formulated with beta-carotene, which is a naturally derived antioxidant.) I like to apply it all over right after the shower so it can really sink in and nourish my skin. I can’t have enough bottles of it around!
I know what you’re thinking: Why does she need yet another eye palette or more lipsticks? Because it’s the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Plus, look at these colors. The shadows aren’t trendy; they’re perfect for layering together or wearing on their own. Do I really need to convince you on the lip colors? They’re classics. And it should be noted that the lip creams are formulated with soja seed extract, Brazilian murumuru butter, and chamomilla flower oil, so the texture and application is smooth and creamy.
I’m always battling dry lips and can never seem to find products that don’t leave my pout flaky by the end of the day. Until now, that is: This set comes with dual-formula lippies with natural, glowing tints that condition with nutrients at the same time. The colors are perfect to wear year-round: There’s an everyday nude and a bubblegum pink. I have a feeling these will become my new go-tos.
