I Asked My Most Stylish Friends Their Go-To Night-Out Look—Here Are the Results
There's one message constantly flying around my group chats: "What are you wearing tonight?" With parties to attend, dates to go on, brunches to eat, and new bars and restaurants to discover, this question inevitably creeps up every weekend. You might say it's the number one question on everyone's mind.
The first thing I do when out of fresh outfit ideas is to ask my fashionable friends what looks are on their minds. One of the best things about having so many fashion people for friends is that I can pick their brains and get outfit ideas whenever I feel stumped—and boy did they deliver this time. They gave me so many great outfit ideas that "What are you going to wear this weekend?" is now a question I look forward to answering.
Five suggested looks quickly became favorites, as they are chic and easy to style. Plus, I had most of them in my closet already. Keep scrolling to see which night-out outfit ideas made my top five.
Body-Con Midi Dress + Heels
This one never fails. Whether it's dinner, date night, a birthday celebration, or a party, this look is simple, sexy, and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
Sparkly Sets
I'm all about embracing the sparkly look. Whether you're celebrating something big or spending a regular Saturday night out with friends, a sparkly set is always a good idea. And with the weather warming up, this look could be great for a summer vacation.
Monochrome Moment
There's something so chic about a monochromatic look. Not only do they look great, but they're so easy to style. You'll catch me wearing monochromatic looks like this around New York all summer.
Corset Top + Denim
This is my go-to look for a more casual night out with friends. It's a classic for a reason. In fact, I'm planning on copying this look for Friday night.
Minidress + Tall Boots
This look is my go-to for a night out in spring or summer. There is something so flirty and fun about a minidress. It's a compliment magnet.
