This Affordable Brand Has Created the Coolest Summer Capsule

Some summer aesthetics are simpler to adopt than others. For example, it's pretty easy to make your wardrobe a more minimal place, even if you're on a budget, as pared-back silhouettes and neutral tones are plentiful on the high street. The same goes for bright colours and maximalist prints—it takes next to no scrolling time to find what you're after. Then, there's the look that's perhaps the most coveted but the hardest to get right, a look that strikes the perfect balance between being carefree and curated. It's hard to pinpoint, but the best term to describe it is bohemian.

Boho is a trend that never truly goes away; though, it always feels most at home during the warmer months. A potent blend of premium-looking prints set against ethereal fabrications paired alongside timeless denim and sharp tailoring, fashion types make the bohemian vibe seem effortless. In reality, however, every piece needs to be considered thoroughly. Veer too retro and you'll run the risk of looking like you're going to a fancy dress party. Play it too safe and your ensemble won't pack the sartorial punch that you were hoping for. Thankfully, there's a new collection that makes mastering the art of bohemian styling so much easier.

Next has always been on our radar for its classic wardrobe staples, impressive shoe line-up and next-level jeans offering. While its core summer 2021 collection is one of the strongest we've seen from the brand (we're partial to its dress section, which currently ticks off every major trend), the edit that's recently caught our eye is the collaboration with Savannah Miller

Considered a bona fide boho expert, Miller is known for her knack for creating chic but comfortable clothing. Having cut her teeth at Alexander McQueen and Matthew Williamson, Miller went on to found the brand Twenty8Twelve with her sister, Who What Wear crush Sienna Miller. After 13 seasons, she went it alone, launching Nine by Savannah Miller and her eponymous bridal collection in 2016. And now, she brings her polished prowess to Next with an exclusive line of genuinely beautiful creations, all of which will help you dress with boho flair.

While the range spans just about every product category you can think of (it even includes loungewear and pyjamas), we couldn't help but notice that the strongest pieces are essentially the items we live in during the summer months. Think incredible dresses in mini, midi, and maxi lengths, elegant and breezy blouses and the ideal denim options to tuck them into and perfect swimwear that'll look just as good at the beach as it will when you're sunning yourself on your patio.

Having effectively assembled the perfect summer capsule wardrobe, all that's left for us to do is show you our must-have pieces. Scroll below to see our four favourite items from Next's new Savannah Miller collection, then continue on to shop additional hits from the edit.
