Yep, This Will Be the New It Bag of Summer 2019
You know you found a covetable new bag when you start getting compliments on it right as you take it out of the box. That honor goes to Montunas's Trellis Lirio Rope-Trimmed Acetate and Linen Tote ($435), which is ripe to become a summer It bag. Montunas already counts Emily Ratajkowski and other celebs as fans, so it won't be long before the new arrival spreads like wildfire.
The only thing better than the mini work of art? The family-run label's backstory. Founded by Elke Ruge and her two daughters, Amanda and Elena Hawila, Montunas pays homage to the trio's home country. "All of our acetate pieces are inspired by our orchid house in the mountains of Costa Rica," Amanda tells Who What Wear. "The shapes are all based on orchid pots and vessels, and the names are native Costa Rican orchids. For us, nature is our biggest inspiration—it’s not hard when you’re from Costa Rica! The new Pearl collection fuses together the two important parts of nature there: the jungle and the sea."

Next up, Anna Wintour predicts the #1 Met Gala red carpet trend for 2019.
Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 14 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Kate and Meghan stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible.
