These 15 New Beauty Products Are What Every Editor Is Raving About
One of the best things about my job is, obviously, the beauty products. Yes, I sometimes get frustrated with them for a multitude of reasons, but show me a loving relationship without a little up and down, and I wouldn't believe it was real! You can always rely on new beauty releases to send a buzz through the beauty industry. With its constant evolution and innovation, the beauty industry is an exciting place. Things like new formulations, new technologies and new ingredients all keep beauty consumers forever on their toes. Even new packaging can be enough to warrant a fancy dinner event or celebrity-promo circuit.
So with the new season comes an inevitable host of new beauty releases. Not all are born equal, of course, but it is very apt timing considering I'm about to schedule my annual spring beauty-bag clean-out, and my routine could do with some exciting—effective—new additions. It’s been a while since we could fully indulge in the thrill that comes with spring beauty releases, with lockdown restrictions having scuppered many plans for the past two years, but this year, we're lockdown-free, and to commemorate the occasion, the beauty industry has gone BIG. From advanced technology to first-of-their-kind formulas, here are 14 new beauty products that should be on your radar for spring 2022.
1. T3 Airebrush Duo
The biggest hair trend of the season, that I-just-got-a-blow-dry-by-an-incredible-hairdresser look, is here to stay. The sad reality is that regular blow-dries at the hairdressers quickly become an expensive luxury. Instead, I would like to introduce you to the T3 Airebrush Duo. The T3 hot airbrush gives the best at-home blow-dry. The tool is engineered with T3 IonFlow technology to deliver an ion-enriched airstream and boasts digitally controlled heat for a shiny, polished, frizz-free finish. Plus, it comes with an interchangeable brush design to suit your different hair needs and 15 heat and speed combinations for every hair type and texture.
2. Lazartigue Exfoliate Scalp Scrub
Scalpcare is where it’s at this season, and this vegan, jelly-textured scalp scrub works overtime. It is formulated with vegetable jojoba beads to remove impurities and fruit acids to act as a gentle exfoliating peel. Start your washday with an exfoliation to restore the scalp's optimal balance for healthier hair.
3. Bobbi Brown Skin Corrector Stick
Everyone who knows a thing or two about beauty knows that the Bobbi Brown corrector concealers are the industry's top guns. The only downfall is the inconvenient packaging—that is until now! Bobbi Brown has launched its much-beloved concealer formula in a handy stick. For the slickest concealer application, and with a formula you can’t beat, make sure this offering is on your list.
4. CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser
After what felt like years of hearing people in the U.S. rave about this foaming oil cleanser, it has finally landed in the UK. And I can confirm that it’s definitely worth the hype. Enriched with essential ceramides to help support the skin’s protective barrier and prevent transepidermal water loss, it’s unlike any oil cleanser you’ve used before.
5. The Ordinary Hair Care Natural Moisturising Factors and HA
Stop what you’re doing. Renowned skincare brand The Ordinary has expanded its haircare range, and it was well worth the wait. Bringing all the benefits of skincare to hair, this formula contains two hero ingredients—hyaluronic acid and natural moisturising factors—to strengthen and combat dryness and damage to the moisture barrier.
6. Ren Clean Skincare Evercalm Barrier Support Elixir
The concept of barrier repair is very much having a moment in beauty, and rightly so. With a little too much experimentation with a number of products, our skin barriers are no doubt a little worse for wear. Created with nine unique bio-activities and a blend of seven oils to aid repair and strengthen, if there is one thing you do for your skin barrier this spring, let it be applying this elixir.

White sea daffodils, vetiver and ylang-ylang create an air of lightness and crispiness, which are beautifully balanced by base notes of deep vanilla and sandalwood.

14. Bed of Nails Acupressure Strap
Covered with 1848 plastic nails, the Bed of Nails Acupressure Strap is an incredible tool for releasing tension and relaxation. Don't be frightened off by the nails; they’re not as sharp as they look! I’d say it's a pretty good spring investment.
