Yes, Naomi Osaka Just Wore a Full-On Wedding Dress From ASOS
There has been a lack of celebrity weddings to ogle at lately, but tennis player Naomi Osaka has done all bridal-obsessed fashion lovers a favor by wearing a wedding dress with no ceremony in sight. The occasion? Not to walk down the aisle but to accept the Laureus World Sportswoman of the Year Award.
The four-time Grand Slam champion wore the ASOS Edition Ciara Sequin Kimono Sleeve Wedding Dress ($339), complete with a plunging V-neck, statement sleeves, and sequins galore. If you're familiar with my byline, you know I incorporate tennis into my Who What Wear stories any chance I get—hint, hint: Read my Maria Sharapova interview—so Osaka's love of fashion is music to my ears. Scroll down to see how she pulled off a wedding dress with aplomb, and shop other ASOS bridal looks.

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 14 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Kate and Meghan stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible.
