This Chic Nail Trend Is All TikTok Cares About Right Now
Here at Who What Wear UK, we love a nail trend. From blueberry milk nails to lavender nails, heading to the salon to try a new shade is just so fun. However, from time to time we like to give our nails a well-deserved break, which is why we were so excited to hear that "naked nails" is currently the trend to try.
This nail trend has been all over TikTok, and much like the name suggests, it's all about letting your natural nails shine through. Not only has it taken off on social media, but we've seen celebs such as Hailey Bieber and Margot Robbie also giving it a go. There are lots of different ways to re-create this trending manicure, but it all comes down to keeping your nails looking (and feeling) as healthy as possible.
In order to get that healthy, "naked" look, you can either leave your nails totally bare or apply a sheer polish or shiny top coat. However, the key to this trend is not so much about the polish itself, but more about caring for your nails. We recommend investing in a manicure set to keep your cuticles looking polished, and using a cuticle oil or hand cream to moisturise the skin.
Not only is this trend super low-maintenance for summer and beyond (that's right, no obvious gel regrowth or chips over here), but it looks instantly chic thanks to the simple, glossy finish. Keep on scrolling for some of my favourite naked nail looks.

As you can see from this picture, well-groomed cuticles make all the difference.
Just perfection.
Long naked nails look so elevated.
Square-shaped nails also work well for this trend.
Opt for a polish that lets your natural nails shine through.

You can also use pink and nude polishes for that naked look.
So, so chic.
The more natural, the better!
