John Lewis & Partners Is Hosting a Virtual Beauty Extravaganza—You're Invited

Once upon a time, the Great British department store reigned supreme over the beauty industry. From the latest skincare innovations to some of the most luxe makeup that money could buy, if you were serious about beauty, a department store was always the first port of call. Though, over the years, as new brands began popping up left, right and centre, online beauty destinations grew ever more popular. One particular store, however, has managed to maintain its position as a beauty hotspot, in part due to it's prominence not only on the high street but also as a sleek virtual destination.
In fact, we'd go as far as to say that John Lewis & Partners is fast becoming our beauty destination of choice. During the recent lockdown, the store's online offering, that ranges from luxe heritage brands to niche indie names, kept all of us beauty addicts sane with the knowledge that our hero products were still available at our fingertips. Quite simply, there is no beauty budget nor need that John Lewis & Partners doesn’t cater to.
So to celebrate its position as a beauty mecca and as a chance to show off all of the amazing beauty goodness that it has to offer, John Lewis & Partners is hosting one hell of a virtual event, and you're invited. From Thursday 30 July to Sunday 2 August, the John Lewis Virtual Beauty Weekend will bring the beauty halls to life online. With 17 exclusive events across 4 unmissable days, including live digital talks and masterclasses from some of the industry's biggest names, all live from your living room, this is not one for beauty lovers to miss. All of your favourite brands across skincare and makeup will be involved, from Charlotte Tilbury and Nars to Laura Mercier, Sunday Riley and Estée Lauder.
No matter where you are, you can now access advice from beauty insiders such as Nadine Baggott, Sam Chapman and Sali Hughes, as well as masterclasses from experts including Hannah Martin, Sunday Riley herself and celebrity facialist Sarah Chapman, who'll be giving away her secrets to the perfect at-home facial on a Friday. If that wasn't enough, there will also be panel discussions on the art of body confidence and self-care with the likes of Callie Thorpe and Lauren Smeets—there's bound to be something on the line up to tickle your fancy.
If you're glow-obsessed (like us), be sure to catch Saturday's Get The Ultimate Glow With Charlotte Tilbury, as pro makeup artists Kelechi Onuoha and Sofia Castiglione will be revealing Charlotte's secrets behind getting that red carpet shimmer across different skin tones.
And for the skincare fanatics out there, join Founder and CEO Sunday Riley to learn all about the brand's power trio of ingredients that help skin achieve a step change. Plus, she'll build a bespoke routine for six different attendees, addressing their skincare concerns, including ageing, dry skin, sensitivity and blemish-prone skin. To be considered as one of Sunday's special guests, keep an eye out for your ticket confirmation email which will include all the details on how to enter.
Access to the digital event is available exclusively to my John Lewis Members (sign up here), and after the first batch of tickets sold out so quickly, John Lewis & Partners have released a second batch to ensure all beauty lovers have the chance to attend. The new tickets are £20 with a £15 redeemable voucher to spend online or in the John Lewis app with the brand hosting the event.
