I Compared 21 Airports, and These 6 Have the Best Style

I haven't racked up any air miles in 2019 yet, but I logged plenty of virtual flight hours for this story. I scoured Instagram geotags for all the major airports worldwide in an attempt to determine which location has the most stylish patrons—and I came away with some seriously stellar outfit ideas. (No offense to travel pros like Gigi Hadid and Rihanna, but I excluded celebrities from my search—although, of course, we have plenty of celeb-focused airport style stories to check out too.)

It was tough to narrow down the field, but a handful of airports stand out in my mind. Seoul Fashion Week, for instance, is giving the traditional fashion capitals a run for its money, so it's no surprise that the city's airport sees incredibly stylish women pass through it daily. Berlin, Paris, London, and Milan also made my list. Scroll down to see what women wear to six stylish airports around the world and shop travel-ready pieces.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
