The Comfortable Heels Fashion Editors Swear By
If there’s one place you want to appear polished and put together, it’s the office. And often that means throwing on a pair of heels to finish off your outfit. It isn’t worth silently suffering through the day with a pair of shoes that are painful though. Especially now since styles like kitten heels and block heels are so popular—there’s never been a better time to add heels into your workday repertoire. But which are the coolest versions to add to your closet?
To find out the styles that have the stamp of approval from fashion girls, I turned to Who What Wear’s very own editors to weigh in on the heels they’re wearing to the office. Their cool picks run the gamut from mules to classic slingbacks to ankle boots that stand the test of every season. Want to see the heels they’re wearing on repeat?
Go on to shop seven heels for the office that are comfortable and stylish.
"My office heels pick is 90% about comfort, which is why I opt for these Manolo slingbacks. The soft suede and not-too-high heel ensure your feet aren't hating you after a long day, plus they're classic and give any outfit a polished touch."
"They're a bit taller than what I'd normally go for, but these boots are surprisingly comfortable to wear, even out to appointments during the day."
"When it comes to comfortable heel options, a block style is the way to go. I wear the below black mules all the time and have zero complaints."
"I love these baby Mary Jane block heels from Carel. The height is just enough, and they always add a pop of color to any outfit."
"The most comfortable heels I wear to work are always a block heel with about three to four inches of height. Not only do I currently love the look of a more substantial heel, but they prevent any teetering and allow me to be on my feet for hours without being in pain. These are the latest pair of block heels I'm looking to add to my arsenal."
"I have a pair of floral Aquazzura Alix Pumps that I wear to the office all the time, and I never get blisters. These embroidered versions are super cute too—I might need them in every color now."
"I realize that this is the world's smallest heel, but a heel nonetheless, and my feet love them. The only bad part about these comfortable mules is that because of the fabric, they can only be worn on rain-free days."
"Me and feet are quite thankful that kitten heels have emerged as one of the year's biggest shoe trends. Giving you just enough height, they're the comfiest heels I've worn."
